The Tommy Pants is a unisex baby & toddler sewing pattern suitable for beginners and above. Make them with or without inseam pockets, either way, your little one will love wearing them! With a relaxed wide leg fit and an elasticated waistband, comfort and practicality are at the heart of this pattern. Let your little one explore, play and grow in a pair of handmade Tommy Pants!

Design details

  • Relaxed wide leg fit for easy movement
  • Elasticated waistband: easy to put on and comfy to wear
  • Optional inseam pockets pattern included!
  • Size range: 3 months to 36 months old (you will receive all sizes)

This pattern has been tested on over 20 little ones across all sizes, from 3 months to 3 years old, and refined with love based on the feedback from the wonderful pattern testers.

When and how will I receive the sewing pattern?

Right after purchase, you’ll get an order confirmation email. Soon after, you’ll receive another email with a link to download a ZIP folder containing four PDF files.

I can’t find the sewing pattern in my inbox, what should I do?

First, I sudgest you to check your spam or junk folder :) If it’s not there, it’s possible the wrong email address was entered at checkout (this can sometimes happen when paying with Apple Pay or PayPal).

If you still can’t find your pattern, send me an email at azzurro.hello@gmail.com or fill out the contact form on my website. Please include your full name and, if possible, your order number so I can quickly help you out.

Do the patterns include written instructions?

Instead of written instructions, I create in-depth video tutorials for every pattern and share them on YouTube. When I was learning to sew, written instructions often felt overwhelming, while videos made it so much easier to understand how garments come together. That’s why I focus on visual tutorials, so you can follow along step by step :)

Can I use your patterns to sew clothes and sell them?

No, my patterns are for personal use only. They cannot be used to make and sell finished garments. I pour a lot of time, love, and creativity into designing these patterns, and I share them with joy and trust. ♡

What if a pattern is updated?

If a pattern is updated or expanded with extra pieces (for example, a new sleeve option, size expansions..) and you’ve already purchased it, you’ll automatically receive an email with the latest version :)
