How it all started
Nearly five years ago, I decided to start sewing my own clothes after learning about the impact of fast fashion. The thought of my clothes being made by exploited workers horrified me, and I stopped supporting these brands. Beyond the waste and pollution fast fashion creates, many of their fabrics contain harmful chemicals, which further pushed me to find a better way.
Sewing has given me the ability to ensure both the quality and ethics of my clothing while bringing my creative ideas to life—and it's something I simply can’t imagine not doing!

That’s why I founded Azzurro: to connect with like-minded women and offer garments made from natural fabrics, minimazing waste by a made-to-order approach and made to last with customizable options to reflect each person’s unique body without compromising on ethics or the environment.
There’s something special about handmade items that makes them stand out.
While they require more time to craft, the attention to detail and the personal story behind each piece make them truly exceptional!
